Photographer Sophie Ebrard asked me to help her with the visual identity for her exhibition ‘I didn’t want to be a Mum’ dealing with her experiences as a mum and the taboos around motherhood. We created a series of posters with a delicate typography and a flexible layout that adapted to the different pictures.

The exhibition took place at Ebrard’s house during Unseen Amsterdam, featuring the photo series alongside other multisensory exhibits, including the bottled smell of a newborn baby’s head, the sound of a woman giving birth, and a video of a breast called Milk on Tap.

The posters ran across town and we created a few different assets for the exhibition.
