For the release of Samsung’s latest affordable line-up of smartphones ‘Galaxy A’ we created this film celebrating creators from around the world. The film features the first Nigerian skateboard crew WafflesNCream, the Kurdish-British model and creative Deba, Brazilian dancer Jonathan Santos and rap duo Ain’t Afraid from Detroit among others.

Apart from the hero film, we made a bunch of films focusing on specific features of the phone. These are my 3 favorites.

We worked with director Felix Brady and editor Vid Price. Both did an awesome job of planning and piecing the film together.

This was the second Samsung project I worked on during the lockdown and it was a really challenging production. The shoot was done all remotely and agency, client, director and shoot were in totally different timezones.

I worked on this project as an Art Director at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam with Dasha Ovechkina as copywriter.
